Hello all,
I'm making a prototype that uses a punching bag instead of a dance pad. Similar to this, but a bit less crude, with more buttons and (this is the tricky part) analog input for new types of taps that can be hit harder for more points or have a higher force threshold for mandatory harder hits. The bag looks like this, and I will add sensors similar to these under the numbers.

I'm confident I can build this - I've constructed dance pads before using wood, aluminum foil, a controller box from a sacrificial usb playstation-style controller, and carbon fiber squares. They work great, but the game only supports digital controllers and thus makes no differentiation as to how hard the button is pressed. I haven't tinkered with coding beyond some rudimentary python so if anyone is interested in helping me out on that side or even pointing me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
