OS X 10.11.2 breaks controller support

I just updated to the OS X 10.11.2 Beta (15C27e) developer build and my DDR Game Aftershock pad no longer works in Stepmania 5.0.9 (control box buttons or panels).

The device does show up under USB in System Information:
