How do I put songs in Stepmania

Im new to here. There are a bunch of links to download song packs but they dont automatically show up in stepmania. How to I get them into the app?

Yeah it isn't very intuitive for those who aren't familiar with StepMania.
You need to place the song pack you downloaded (the unpacked folder, not the .zip/.rar package) inside the Songs folder of your StepMania installation.

StepMania 5 did come with two example songs, but you probably downloaded it so you could install your own



Song installation seems to trip up people who aren't used to it, so here is how a proper installed song (in this case Royal Flush from !FlightMix 4) looks:
