Osu to sm requests?

I was expecting to find a osu to sm converter, since Osu! is so popular at the moment compared to stepmania (If anyone does, please PLEASE inform me!)

Since I didn't, I've started coding my own. It's basically functional at the moment, but there are a few things that aren't fully automated yet (read: people other than me can't operate it). If anyone has any requests for Osu charts they would like to be converted into Stepmania charts, post the Osu link and desired difficulty and I'll reply with a decent-ish stepmania chart. Converted difficulties are looking around 2-9 ish depending on the osu chart.

I think its impossible to do this now.

Because in ''osumania'' you dont have the ALL possibility Stepmania have :|

In Osu you just have 2 (time (REd, Blue)) and in stepmania... red.. blue. yellow.. green etc.

And its why Bpm in osu is more fast.
Because its impossible to put a (hard solo) if he dont set a x2 x3 bpm.

Just send the idea whit the Osu Creator to put more time...
And i think ''osumania is more good'' if he put that :|

I don't understand you at all.

Firstly, Osu / Taiko / Osumania basically run off the same data; it's unexpected, but if you look at the source you can immediately see this.

Second, I procedurally generate the Right/left/up/down arrows in a manner only slightly dependent on the osu data.

Third, most of the osu files I have converted are too EASY after converting. The harder osu maps might give me 11-12 ish on stepmania once more jumps, holds are added (they're not really implemented yet).

Fourth, I'm not trying to mod Osu to play stepmania, because Osumania isn't designed for pads, so I have no desire to talk to the creator of Osu.

So basically you can't convert osu files to sm, because osu doesn't have all the things stepmania has?
