StepMania 5.0.8 released

I just downloaded 5.0.8 and I'm already noticing an error:

When I go to play a song, the step zone doesn't flash like it should. And the arrows don't "change their internal color" (not sure how else to describe it) because of that.
I'm not sure how this slipped into the release, but it's already been fixed for the next one.

I keep noticing this when I stream stepmania 5.0.8 . I keep lagging. It's not my PC nor my internet. I have my stream set to 30 fps and stepmania goes over 100 which makes my stream lag. Can you guys please make a frame limiter for the next release. It will be helpful.

Sounds like vsync is forced off in your video driver then, not much SM can do about that.

I'll check my video driver when I get home I'm on my school netbook at the moment. I'll update this post in a few hours.

This is bad advice, straight up. VSync isn't a problem. If you notice timing offset just adjust your visual offset or GO.

The game's actual input timings are not tied to the rendering.
