Translation request

Someone commented on github that your spanish translation is full of spelling mistakes, so I'm going to go with what he writes instead.

From what i see, the spelling mistakes that you say are the words with accents right?

Also i was just working in _fallback when i saw this. :(



















And right now im testing the Results screen. (Combo, Text, Single Digit Great,Perfects)

But, if youre gonna use someone else, im gonna continue translating this. So when i finish with the _fallback and es.ini (while cheking at the same time the spell checks), i i´ll send them to you. ok? :)

Hi, I'm TheFireRed from this forum and GitHub. It seems that I have some troubles regarding my account here and I can't get access to it (even though I have tried to recover my password -- I just don't receive the email). Oh well, it doesn't matter, really.

I was working independently in a personal repository through GitHub in order to provide with a translation for StepMania in Spanish. I was aware that the original files were extremely lacking and decided to work on it. However, I didn't comment anything about it and just worked on it privately, just to add the complete translation to GitHub when it's done.

I also wanted to comment on your translation, Jose_Varela. In your current screenshots you are showing a lot of mistakes. Take for example the arbitrary use of capital letters, lack of accented characters, cut-out strings, borrowed English terms that do have a proper translation, etc.

Also, in the options selection screen (wich is the 5th screen), Noteskins is in [OptionTitles] from es.ini.

I'm in favor of using AegisTrad/TheFireRed's translation because I spent some time looking around his fan translation site and it looks like he has more experience with translating.

I want to translate into German ?

Create a file named "de.ini" and fill it with the strings translated into German then send it in when it's finished. You'll need to create Themes/_fallback/Languages/de.ini with the translated versions of everything in Themes/_fallback/Languages/en.ini and Themes/default/Languages/de.ini with the translated versions of everything in Themes/default/Languages/en.ini.

Stepmania uses this list of language codes for the names of language files.

Also, anyone who sends in a translation should include their name exactly as they wish it to appear in the credits. (AegisTrad/TheFireRed is the only person this matters to right now)
