I've been running Stepmania perfectly on my desktop for a while now, but yesterday I tried to play it with my laptop and it kept giving me an error message (d3dx9_43.dll missing). I have actually tried running it on both W8.1 and W10 now, and I of course reinstalled the game at least once on both OS, but the problem just won't go away. I figured out from a world of tanks related thread that it is a common problem with DirectX, but no one offered a valid solution. I assume I will have to re-install DirectX, but with the microsoft support website being as helpful as always I'm stuck. Anyone else had this problem or know of any solutions to it?
