bbcode list for sigs?

I want to put some links in my sig (just look at it, all linkless and such).
I tried some basic html, but that didn't work. I'm also unfamiliar with bbcode.
So can we put a "Formatting Help" under the sig, like there is under a reply or thread post?

EDIT: after using the BB Code formatting help, I found out about the "[url]" tag. I tried it. Why does it link to "stepmania.com/xyz.com" instead of "xyz.com"?[/url]

www doesn't matter in urls, but http:// does.
