Xbox 360 Konami Dance Pad Point-Of-View Problem [SOLVED]

Hi! I'm having trouble with the official Konami Dance Pad for the Xbox 360.
What's happening is, whenever I do a left + right jump, it always inputs as left + down no matter what. Up and down seems to be working fine, but left and right don't.
Is there a fix for this?

I figured out now that it is the point of view hat that I'm having trouble with.

Also, I am running Windows 8.1 x64 and have Xbox 360 accessories 1.2 installed.

I solved all my Konami Dance Pad problems! I just installed XBCD and configured the directional buttons as individual buttons, instead of the traditional D-Pad configuration. You do not need to reply now. I fixed it.

Run the configuration program (XBCD Setup Utility), then set the arrows as individual buttons (e.g, button 11, 12, 13, 14)
