I got three Impact Dance Pad (foam pad) since a few days . One is working really fine, the other two have both a problem that is driving me crazy:
When I stand in the center of the pad, the up-arrow is permanently pressed. I am not even moving or touching the upper arrow. I checked with stepmania input controls and yeah. Joy up is pressed as long as I am standing in the center of the mat, so if I play stepmania all up arrow steps fail of course.
I tried to shake the pad like a blanket and yes that problem occurs not so often anymore for a couple of minutes playing but appears again then.
Since I have that problem with two pads I ask:
Coincidence? Common problem? Do you have that problem too? Anyone knows how to fix? I am desperate. It's the only pad in Europe I can buy :-(
