Adapter help... at wit's end

Hello all,

For Christmas I got some old PS2 dance pads (the ones that say "Stay Cool" on them) and a blue PS2-to-USB adapter that came with a small driver disk (http://www.amazon.ca/HDE-Dual-Controller-Adapter-Converter/dp/B001AATQ0Y). I know they're not high end pads, but it's a tight year and I was ecstatic over the gift. However, we simply can't get them to work. I've tried various combinations of drivers from the disk. The adapter is recognized as an HID compliant device, with two HID game controllers, but the game options, joy2key, games... nothing detects any press of the pads themselves.

I have practically the same issue as you. If it helps you any, I told them that it says on the description that it works with dance pads, and they're going to be sending me another one. Would you like me to update you if it works?

Are you guys testing the inputs in stepmania? If something comes up then it's probably working and you just need to map the inputs so the game recognizes those specific inputs to control whatever functions in the software.

Trust me, the second one they send you will also not work. The dance pad function only works on older 32 bit systems. The 32 bit drivers are fully supported, but 64 bit is just trash. Stay away from that adapter. Buy this one instead. It costs more but will save you hours of headache just trying to get the dang thing to work. I've had plug and play dance pad support on the PS2 port with this one, even on the latest Windows 10. Well worth the cost.

Cause I've bought an adapater for Wii (But Just for SuperSmashBros I think) and my 2 pad are not recognized by my pc.
The price is very hight so I don't want to buy it for nothing.

Solve my problem, now, my 2 pad work with the official adaptater of wii U who work normaly just in Wii. :D
