Soft PAD Connection Problem

Hi,
I've recently invested myself in a DDR softpad and I've gotten it today.

It says that it is compatible with Windows XP and Mac, but the problem is that my laptop wouldn't find the device connected into the laptop.
Any advice? :s

So the seller / manufacturer said it would work, and it doesn't work. Obviously contact the seller and complain. You could also try the pad on another PC. Finally sometimes soft pads arrive DOA, the circuit boards are almost always made in China and if there's a single wire that broke off of the circuit board, a single very tiny and weak wire, the pad won't work.
