Hi, I have a Pump It Up cabinet, the oldest one with the newest MK9 cpu, that CPU has a 80GB HDD, Celeron 430 CPU, i945, GeForce 7200 GPU and PIUIO Board.

I installed Debian 7.5.0 i386, the NVidia driver from the nvidia website and "StepMania 5 Beta 1a (2012/12/29) [Linux x86]", after resolving the SM dependencies, I managed to make it run.
Now it appears as the PIUIO board is being detected by stepmania because it is listed when I go to Input test but doesn't register any input in the game.
Is there something else I need to install to make the PIUIO board work?
Also I would like to know if Stepmania supports driving the lights on the arcade machine (via the PIUIO interface).

Ok, fixed this myself, I had to compile and install djpholy's piuio kernel module, now the PIUIO board works.

The lights are running for me but the pad is not registering. Did you have to map the pad to keys in the settings? I attempted to do that and I got menu controls via the pad but the game itself is not registering the pad when it plays a song.

I have PIUIO listed in the Preferences.ini:

InputDrivers=PIUIO
LightsDriver=PIUIO

and the kernel module is loaded.

Did I miss a step somewhere?
