Recently bought an Accmart dual usb to PS2 adaptor usb 2.0. We had some old DDR mats, one is offical konami one for PS2 (DDR Max) and an intec mat. We try play stepmania v.4.0 However, we are not able to input the double arrows in the game. We try the "dance pad code",hold up+start+select together for 3 seconds, and it still doesn't work. Please help, is there any sort of drivers we need to install?

While there may be some workaround I'm not aware of, and if you Google a bunch, you'll find different programs to try and files to download. If you're like me, none of them will work. I bought a couple PS2 to USB adapters and those didn't work either, even the ones that claimed to. I know there are some adapters that actually will work, but it's kind of a crap shoot to actually find one. It may be worth it to save yourself the headache and just buy a new dance pad that has a USB connection.

I searched the internet for several days, and finally found the solution. It works for any dance pad that windows picks up as a gamepad. All of the steps and downloads needed are provided in the forum post I created, due to the amount of steps for thorough explaination
