Connect Wii Dance Pad to Pc

Hey guys,

So I bought this third party GameCube adapter for the Wii U and I was wondering if I could hook up my Wii dance pad to my pc for stepmania through this adapter.

I have this adapter and Wii DDR mat. I cannot make it work with stepmania right now. Stepmania does not recognize the dance mat. Not sure if I have missed anything. Can you guys please help?

Did anyone ever get this working? I have 2 Wii DDR mats and I want to get a GameCube to USB converter similar to OPs.

I use the 3 in 1 Magic Jox Box fom Mayflash under linux and it works perfectly with the Wii dance mat.

I maintain the + button of the dance mat 3 seconds (sometime a second time 3 second) to switch in digital mode (to maintain more than one arrow at time)
