Joy Mappings get reset to default if I unplug the pad

Hello,

I'm using the Impact Dance Platform along with windows 8 and stepmania 5.0.7

Now with the default key config, the left and upper arrow are swapped meaning when I touched the left arrow with my foot, the game registered an up-arrow and the other way arround.

I changed the "Config Key/Joy Mappings" to make it work properly, I hit save to disk but now my problem is that the Config Key/Joy Mappings reset to default when I unplug the pad.

Is there a solution to this, to make the changes 100% persistent?

Find the "Automap Joysticks" option under Input Options or Advanced Input Options and turn it off.
