Xbox DDR Controller problem

I'm using the "Xbox 360 Dance Dance Revolution DDR Original Konami Dance Pad" and everything works, but when I press left and right at the same time I get left and down instead.... could anyone help me with this problem?

are the arrows just misconfigured in keymaps.ini perhaps? I wanna say it's just the joystick axis problem striking again but I could be wrong (though I wouldn't doubt that pad model having the issue if it's from ddrgame).

That's good to know, I've only used third party X360 pads and they don't have axis problems, I haven't tried officials. Same as the PS3 though, officials don't work and third party pads do work fine.

Not sure, but when I do left and right alone, they work perfectly, but when I do left + right = left + down. up and down work perfectly, but when I do up + down = nothing.

i have the same issue. i have win7 and it has been driving me nuts. what .ini congigs has to be done? its crazy that this a common problem and im having such a hard time finding a guide how to fix it, and i've seen them out there before.

I have been having the exact same issue myself. (I'm on windows 8.1) Was hoping I could find a good fix here. If anyone has any information I would appreciate it greatly.
