Specs as following:
win 7 64bit
2 USB foam pieces of crap, which always worked
What is the problem:
These mats always worked, and they do even now in old stepmania 3.9 (on the same OS), whose keymaps were never really changed since times I used windows XP - maybe that's the reason s3.9 can still detect them.
Anyway, newest 5.0.6 build which I switched to a week ago (or any previous 5.0.x) wouldn't acknowledge them, be it missing drivers, incompatibility, wrong keymaps.ini or god knows what.
I tried the following manual changes in %appdata% keymaps.ini
1_Back=Joy2_B9
1_Up=Key_g:Joy2_B13
1_Down=Key_d:Joy2_B15
1_Left=Key_s:Joy2_B16
1_Right=Key_h:Joy2_B14
1_Start=Joy2_B10
(I'm keyboard fag as well)
Obviously this didn't do the trick.
Can any of you share with me how joy mapping should be named in stepmania 5, or am I doomed and should consider Omega GX pads?
