Well I bought this gamepad - hoping to play again and - I can't get it to work. Its the one pictured here http://dancepadmania.com/product/dance_pads/basic-dance-pad/
I was told when I bought it it was compatible - but Stepmania doesn't seem to recognize it. I have followed the troubleshooting here http://dancepadmania.com/troubleshooting/. My computer itself recognized the dance pad just fine - so it's not the dancepad.
There are youtube videos out there but they all seem to be for an old version. I've never used Stepmania before - and am a bit frustrated with it thus far. I WANT it to work - but there seems to be a lack of resources to get me on the right track. :(
