Hi all,
A friend of mine recently gave me his XBox360 dance pad. I thought, awesome, it has a USB port, I'll plug it into my computer, install stepmania and have a blast!
I have an older MacBook running OS 10.6.8. When the dance pad is plugged in, it lights up briefly. When I run System Profiler, it recognizes that there is a Konami Dance Pad in the USB. But I'm not getting any input from pushing the arrows or other buttons, and I can't get any programs to recognize it. Of course Stepmania doesn't see it, and I tried USB Overdrive, Controllermate, and even downloading an XBox360 controller driver for my mac, but no luck with anything.
Is this a piece of hardware destined to never work with my computer? Or is there some obvious step I'm missing?
Thanks for your time!
