Have a Cobalt Flux (PS2 to USB) that stopped working a 2 different machines, both upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04. The is no problem with the hardware because it still works on my Win2k machine. When it's plugged in, the computer recognizes the gamepad in system settings, jstest-gtk, and stepmania. The problem is that no button presses are detected. When I use "cat /dev/input/js0", I get the jibberish, but again there's no response to button presses. I'm at lost what to try next.
