Help with videos

Hi everybody, I have this problem:

My stepmania works, but there is no video, if I put a video in a folder, the first time I run stepmania the video works perfect but in the next song, even if I repeat the same song, stepmania crashes, I dont know what the problem is.

This is the guide I followed:

hg clone https://sm-ssc.googlecode.com/hg/ sm-ssc

hg pull -u

sudo apt-get install libxrandr-dev libgl1-mesa-dev libgl1-mesa-dev libpng12-dev libjpeg62-dev zlib1g-dev libogg-dev libvorbis-dev libmad0-dev libavcodec-dev libavformat-dev libtheora-dev libasound2-dev libgtk2.0-dev libswscale-dev libglu1-mesa libglu1-mesa-dev libbz2-dev libglew1.6-dev

cd sm-ssc

chmod +r autogen.sh
./autogen.sh

./configure


make
sudo make install



I have configured ffmpeg... I'm using Linux mint 17
I'm trying to install it on my mk9 hardware with the Geforce 4800 GS card

I hope someone can help me.

That's ancient and not supported anymore. Stepmania stopped using googlecode 2 years ago. Check the StepMania Releases forum for an updated guide and use recent source code.

Thanks bro, I followed that tuto, anyway I had to move some nvidia setting, now I have a little problem, If I let the select music screen to finish the Intro of any song, when it finishes, stepmania crashes... any idea?
