i was fidling around in the options, and now i only haw the start button left on the startup screen.

Hold F3 and press 1 until the CoinMode is set back to Home. Then hit Scroll Lock to go to the operator menu, and when you exit the operator menu the normal choices should be back.
You could also use the operator menu to find the option and set it back to normal.
