Two quick questions...

Getting back into Stepmania after a few years off; have set up things on a new Win8 system and have two things that I haven't been able to duplicate in my old setup (didn't see these answered in the faq; the faq did help me solve a couple of other problems). Can't go back to the old system to check settings or copy things over, as it is sead.

First, I can't get all songs to show in an ABC list. On my old setup I was able to have all songs listed in alphabetical order, divided by letters (all the A songs in group A on the wheel, B in B, etc.). If I use All Songs in Appearance Options, it shows all songs, but not quite in alphabetical order. It will show all of (for example) Mix 1 in alphabetical order, followed by all of Mix 2 in alphabetical order, etc.

Second, the old setup "remembered" where I was at when I exited. If I exited the game with Rhythm and Police being the last song played, starting a new game would start with the song selection on Rhythm and Police. Right now, it's always starting on the first song, and I prefer the other behavior.

Have I missed something obvious? Any suggestions?

That did solve the "saving where I was at" problem, thank you :^). Suppose I can live with dividing things up by groups instead of by the alphabet :^).

Ah, right. Press Left+Right to cycle between sorting modes (there's like 6). You can also press CTRL+letter to jump to that letter (it should work for most of them).

Pressing Up,Down,Up,Down in somewhat rapid fashion will open the sort menu itself if either of those aren't sufficient. (Though the Ctrl+letter thing should set it to song title mode, last time I checked.)

Is there a way to have a profile but not have Stepmania start on the previous song?
Nothing related shows up in the profile options when I check.

It doesn't look like there's any way to configure that.
