Localization - Help needed

Hello,

My name is Veronica and I am preparing my master thesis on localization of open-source video games.

For my study, I have made a short survey and I am interested in getting some input from the Stepmania team.

I would need any developer (or anyone who could answer a few questions about l10n, programming languages, translators recruitment) to complete my survey.

As a graduate student, myself, I'm feeling for you on this one! I'm not sure I really qualify as a "developer" here. I have no experience with l10n and am more of an "occasional contributor" to this project.

How long do you expect the survey to take to complete? I can forward this message to another grad-student/StepMania-developer I know who doesn't check this forum frequently. If necessary, I'd be happy to take the survey, myself, I'm just not especially knowledgable on your topic.

As someone who tried to lead a (half-assed) localization effort, I guess I'm a good person to talk to for this as well.
