Stepmania 5.10 won't recognize keyboard (Mac)

Hi!

Played Stepmania a lot before, put it aside for a while. I'm now ready to rock the pads again!

Back then, everything worked perfectly. I could boot Stepmania, navigate the menu with the keyboard and go map the controls with my pads.

I juste installed Stepmania 5, and I can't navigate at all in the menu with either the pads or the keyboard. I have a ps2 adapter with an old map, but I know they do work correctly on my current system because I play Crypt of the Necrodancer without a problem on Steam. I'm using Mac OS Yosemite.

Anyone got an idea ?

One of the casualties of our dire lack of a mac dev who can rewrite stepmania's ancient input code.

It's possible that stepmania is creating a blank keymaps file, which has happened to a couple people before. (thread link)
If pasting in known working keymaps doesn't solve it, I don't know what to do.

You're in the same predicament as I am, Alexis. My stepmania hasn't responded for months. Even after upgrading to El Capitan, nothing.
