I've installed Stepmania, and when I try to open it, I get the message "C:\Games\Stepmania 5\ProgramStepmania.exe is not a valid Win32 application." My computer is running Windows XP (I know, right?) Is Stepmania just not supported on Windows XP, or am I installing it wrong? (If that's possible.)
I don't think the latest releases of StepMania support Windows XP, but I'm not entirely sure about that. I'll check that later.
when Windows throws this this error it means that the application is either missing or corrupted. you might want to redownload the game and install. if the problém persist try older versions of stepmania

Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. (They've moved on for the new things...)
As it based, old versions of Stepmania. such as V3.9 is still working... but the latest version of the game like Stepmania 5 will be incompatible...
