Any chance custom loading from USB will be supported in the next release? Anyone using SM on arcade hardware will be very happy if you do XD
Nobody is working on it right now, but if someone wants to code it then it can be in the game.
A bad workaround: Depending on whether you run Linux or Windows on your machine, you can symlink the users Song files ~/.stepmania-5.0/Songs to the directory where your drive will be mounted (I don't know if this would work on Windows) . However you will have to go to the service menu and press "Reload Songs" every time you insert or remove the USB stick or you simply boot the machine with the USB stick inserted.
that would never fly in an arcade setting XD It would work if you" had" to make USBs work at home though
