Cannot create a folder on StepMania 5.0.9 - Mac OSX

I'm having a trouble to create a new folder on Songs folder.
I downloaded the StepMania-5.0.9-mac.dmg but when I run it's blocked to create and delete or just copy and paste any folder.
I tried to change the configurations on System Preferences/Security and Privacy but nothing is working. I also tried other version and nothing works ether.

Can someone help me?

I couldn't either at first. Evidently you can't do any of that in program files anymore. Go to your desktop, then select 'Go' from the menu at the top of your screen, then select "Go to folder..." Type in ~/Library/Application Support/StepMania 5/ as described on this page: http://www.stepmania.com/wiki/ That allowed me to put my song/package files where they belong.

My problem is that even with the files in place, they don't show up when I load StepMania. :/

I see that you are using OS X. I also use OS X, so I'll try to help.

In the second screenshot you shared, it looks like you are trying to create a new folder inside the StepMania-5.0.9-mac.dmg installer. This suggests you have not actually installed StepMania on your computer.

Here is what you can do:

1. double-click the StepMania-5.0.9-mac.dmg installer; a window will open showing a folder StepMania 5.0.9
2. drag that folder to your Desktop; this will copy the contents of the dmg to your Desktop. This is how to install applications on OS X.
3. eject the StepMania-5.0.9-mac.dmg by clicking the eject symbol next to it in the Finder sidebar
4. run StepMania 5.0.9 from the folder on your Desktop
