Song Download

So I have been trying to download music onto my Stepmania and I cannot get the songs to appear when I turn the game on. I have been saving them into my downloads file and then copying and pasting them into the stepmania 5 songs folder in the program folder. Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure the song files are under Stepmania 5> Songs > [Name of song]> Song files. The song files are the sm, ssc, mp3/ogg, png, lrc, etc.
