can't run stepmania 5

when i open the game it said "the program can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem" i reinstalled 3 times and still doesn't work
can someone help me?

which one?

If you're running 64bit Windows, you want the "vcredist_x64.exe". If you're running 32bit Windows, you want "vcredist_x86.exe". At least, that's what I'm guessing. I don't actually use Windows.

I had such problem too. U need to load this dll file from here for example http://fix4dll.com/msvcr120_dll then copy to the needed folder and reboot computer. It's done!

Only install dlls from microsoft.com. Do not get dlls from random websites, they are likely to have malware attached.

Ok so I downloaded the file from microsoft, installed and then uninstalled stepmania and then installed stepmania again. It still gives me this error code as well. Do I need to copy msvcr120.dll to a certain folder? IF so, which one? Because the one I found by searching the computer says it's an application extension of Microsoft Office. Thanks for the help in advance.

If you're on 64bit Windows, you need to install both the 64bit and 32bit versions of the VC++ 2013 package I linked above.
