Second Options Screen Gone?

On my wife's laptop, after she selects a song and then she clicks exit from the first song options screen, it starts the song instead of opening up the second options screen. Is there any way of fixing this? We would really appreciate anyone's help!

I believe you are talking about the Song Options screen, which comes after the normal Player Options screen. It is controlled by a preference that can be set to show or hide it.
From the main menu options screen (also accessible by pressing Scroll Lock), pick UI Options. Inside that is an option named "Show Song Options". Set that to Ask and pressing start after the Player Options screen will bring up the Song Options screen. If it's set to Hide, then the Song Options screen cannot be accessed. If it's set to Show, then the Song Options screen will always come up.
