Speed resetting?

Ok, so I'm just your average StepMania player, and a problem I've been running into is that every now and then, my speed (CMods, MMods, XMods) keeps resetting! It's really weird though, because sometimes it goes directly back to x1, and sometimes it goes to C100, and sometimes C50(the lowest CMod I have)! I could't find that anyone else had this problem with StepMania. Any ideas on how I could fix it?

This is very dependent on what theme you are using, whether you're using a profile, and what happens right before it resets. So post what theme you're using, whether you're using a profile, and exactly what you do to trigger the speed mod to reset.

I'm using the default SM5 theme, I'm using a profile, and it just happens when I start a song sometimes.

Update: Instead of 'resetting', my speed seems to be changing to the closest speed I have that is the speed I'm using divided by ten.

Hm, what do you have in SpeedMods.txt for the machine profile and the profile you're using?
