Hello. I just downloaded the good old SM 3.9. It is my first time to make stepfiles from this version, and I have some questions regarding its features.

How do I edit the scrolling factor on some part of the song? I just want to slow down a part of it a little bit and the other parts faster. I know this is possible in SM5, but is this possible in 3.9? If yes, how? If not, then ok. But I believe it has this function since I have seen some Youtube users who boast this feature in some of their songs.

Another one. How do I add delays in 3.9?

I hope I'd be answered.

Those are all features which were added in SM5. SM 3.9 is a decade old... long before anyone thought those up.

EDIT: unless you just want BPM changes, use F8/F9 for that. scroll segments and delays are SM5 features, either way.

Oh, ok. So I may assume that the following slowing down and going fast of the steps in this video is just BPM changes then?

Yeah, those are just bpm changes, not scrolling factor changes.
