So I recently started playing SM again so i downloaded the 5.6 and for some reason all the sounds from the game are off including the songs. The song will play and I know when the beat is and its way off. It isn't a sync issue that can be calibrated because the notes are ahead of the song completely. Any help would be greatly appreciated
So, you've already tried setting your global offset and you know that's not the problem. How far off is the sound?
Try adjusting the visual delay by holding F3 and pressing Y and U.

I wasnt able to figure out global offset but ill try the F3 thing
You can set the global offset by going to the options menu and picking "Calibrate Audio Sync", then hitting the steps in time with the beat.

Yeah that is the problem. Even if I hit it in sync its the whole song being off time from the notes
hit the arrows in time with where they *should* be (i.e. where you hear the notes), not in time with where you see them.
Also use dedicated PC speakers and do not run audio to a LED or LCD TV through HDMI. TV's cause massive audio lag.
