It looks like I'm having a multitude of problems - it's throwing up errors about ALSA, OSS, and iFPS or something like that.

The place in the log where it mentions ALSA and OSS is just the status of the attempt to use those two as sound drivers before it settled on Pulse as the sound driver. ALSA and OSS are tried before Pulse because they are (probably) lower latency.
I don't know what could have caused the crash, but it looks to be somewhere in the video driver. I'm guessing this happened when you tried to start stepmania and not while you were playing?

I personally run Debian Jessie 64-bit, but it's upgraded from Wheezy, and I didn't have problems on Wheezy and the video driver stuff hasn't changed in a long time.
