Hey Everyone

Hello I am new here but not to the game I have been playing this game since 3.9 versions and when there was a stepmania online forums. I haven't played in a year or so and I just got a new mac mini computer to replace my old desktop pc. Still have most of my old packs and stuff. I do like to listen to techno, hard trance, dubstep and hope to soon learn to become a DJ and make some of my own music I just have to get the right equipment of course. But anyway I am glad this website is still up and being used. I will upload a few of my recent scores, I am kinda rusty since I haven't played a while but I do play spread though. Still trying to get my timing right on those streams and I do have trouble on the jumps mostly and the long rows of arrows when they go down right down right a lot and switch to the other side. Well I am a pretty nice guy once you get to know me well back to practicing for me :)

Definitely great to see that the community is still alive and active. I started playing in 2003 or 2004 and always seem to come back to Stepmania. Back then the only 2 sites you really needed were DDRuk and Bemanistyle...oh how things have changed. My friends and I would spend all night downloading songs over dialup on those sites. Never thought I would miss that, but those were the good old days. These days I'm dancing solo; I guess you could say. All my friends from high school went their own way and now I'm the only one I know who has ever played any form of DDR. The nostalgia can kick in hard playing some of the songs, they'll start up and I become flooded with happy memories I wish I could relive. When I play Stepmania these days it's almost like all my old friends are still in town, collecting and playing songs at their houses right now. Like once the weekend gets here maybe I'll get that call saying "having everyone over to play DDR at my house on Friday." Really miss those days and my old friends.

It's just me these days. It really makes me happy to know you guys are all still here, keeping Stepmania alive though. I have nothing but great memories tied to this game, maybe it's time I make some new ones.
