Hi everyone. I haven't done Stepmania in several years. My computer is a 2010 Windows 7 Home Premium. I installed StepMania, put the song packs from DDR MAX1 and 2 into the Songs folder and everything works great. I'm using an expensive steel pad, arcade type that works fine with my console DDR. I bought "Super Joy Box Pro 5" and the arrows work fine except: I'm failing almost every heavy song because when I hold down an arrow, it thinks I'm pressing it repetitively. I can't exactly put my feet back into the middle after every arrow when doing any Max (Unlimited, 300, etc) song. So I'm wondering if anyone knows the setting to fix this so StepMania only thinks I'm pressing each arrow one time instead of repetitively?

Much help appreciated, thank you.

Try setting the InputDebounceTime in Preferences.ini to 0.060000.

Thanks for that, however I looked in every folder for Preferences.ini and I can't find it? Can you tell me where the exact path is? My directory looks like http://i.imgur.com/YkvPPpv.png

Much appreciated.

It should be in %APPDATA%/StepMania 5.0/Save/

Where the heck is %APPDATA%? I can't even begin to find what you're saying we should look.

Doc with other places it might be.
Basically, it's special folder associated with your user account on that computer. I don't use Windows, so I don't know how Windows users get to it.

it's probably a hidden folder so turn hidden folders on in the control panel.
