The pop'n mode doesn't show up in the game modes list.
maybe it neeed a specific release/theme ?

You need the proper noteskins for any game type to show up in stepmania
I'm not sure if anyone's made a pop'n noteskin for sm5.
no the one from 3.9/stepn'music isn't compatible, before you ask and/or try it yourself/break stepmania

I would make one but people don't pay me enough

If all you care about is making the game mode playable and you don't need the notes to look like pop'n notes, all you have to do is make a blank noteskin with these steps.

1. Create the folder NoteSkins/popn
2. Create the folder NoteSkins/popn/default
3. Create the file NoteSkins/popn/default/metrics.ini with this in it:
[Global]

FallbackNoteSkin=common

4. Create the file NoteSkins/popn/default/NoteSkin.lua with this in it:
return ...

Done.

The notes will just be X's, but at least you'll be able to pick the game mode and play it.

Thanks for the tip but i can pass the "style" page : "Screen "ScreenSelectStyle" does not set any choices."

Thanks again for helping

Find "Auto Set Style" in the "Theme Options" section of the options, and turn that on. That should make stepmania skip ScreenSelectStyle.
