Phase 1 Judging Instructions
This email was sent to StepMania developers who are eligible to judge in the contest.
Who can judge?
- Anybody on this mailing list can be a judge. If you'd like to judge, please reply with a quick message so that I can have a count of judges.
- Each judge will receive a StepMania t-shirt or the value of a StepMania t-shirt via PayPal (your choice) as compensation.

- Please download these files even if you have already downloaded songs individually from the StepMania web site. This pack weeds out the disqualified entries and the songs line up with the judging scorecard order.

The scorecards are for your own tracking to narrow down your top entries. You do not need to submit scorecards for this judging phase.
Create a list of your top 15 entries for Bracket 1
Each judge should create a list of their 15 favorite entries using the judging criteria. You don't need to write down a precise score or even order your top 15 entries - just come up with a list of 15 in any order. 1 point will be awarded to each entry in each judge's list.
Create a list of your top 5 entries for Bracket 2
Follow the same instructions above as you did for the Bracket 1 songs, but instead use Bracket 2 songs and make a list of 5 entries.
Submit your lists
You should have a list of 15 songs from Bracket 1 and a list of 5 songs from Bracket 2. The deadline is Sunday, March 2nd, 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time. Please send your song lists to XXXXXX.

Fill in the score card: Fill in the 4 columns for each entry with your scores.
Submit your scorecard: The deadline is Sunday, April 6th, 11:59 PM PST. That's 2 weeks from today.
