Default SM 3.9, Win XP SP2, also tried 3.9+ RC2 and 4.0

I had a question while I'm at it, does the Beginner Helper actually work? I've tried the obvious switching it on along with either choosing characters at random or select character, yet I do not see a demonstration dancer as such. All I see is one of the dancing characters not being a demonstration dancer as if I didn't choose Beginner.

(Unless of course Beginner Helper is a lie, the cake being a lie was bad enough! (Yes I just used an overrated joke to emphasise my point!))

1) Make sure you have bones files with beginner helper. If not, get them at stepmaniathings.com
2) Make sure Cel Shaded Models is turned on in Graphic Options

Thumbs up Thanks, but it only works with 3.9/3.9+

Since I already had the bones files from the SMZIP, I was baffled at why this would bugger up. I then went to change Cel Shaded Models to on. Nothing. Then I tried downloading the bones files from StepManiaThings.com. What I did was copy the bones files from the extracted file over my current ones; to my surprise I had one more bone file added to my current ones called DancePads-DDR.txt, which was not included in the SMZIP. Without this file, Beginner Helper would never work; this would explain why I had this difficulty in the first place.

In any case thanks for the help :)
