Default 20061024|Lik-Sang out of business

Steve Checkoway alerted us to the terrible news that Lik-Sang has closed its doors.

This is very sad for all of us who have purchased USB adapters and other controllers from Lik-Sang. They had an excellent selection of items and will be missed.

Furthermore, Sony have failed to disclose to the London High Court that not only the world wide gaming community in more than 100 countries relied on Lik-Sang for their gaming needs, but also Sony Europe's very own top directors repeatedly got their Sony PSP hard or software imports in nicely packed Lik-Sang parcels with free Lik-Sang Mugs or Lik-Sang Badge Holders, starting just two days after Japan's official release, as early as 14th of December 2004 (more than nine months earlier than the legal action). The list of PSP related Sony Europe orders reads like the who's who of the videogames industry, and includes Ray Maguire (Managing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Alan Duncan (UK Marketing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Chris Sorrell (Creative Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Rob Parkin (Development Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited), just to name a few.

I have a closet full of guitars, drums, dance pads, a PPP controller, and USB adapters from Lik-Sang. All the adapters here were from Lik-Sang.

RIP Lik-Sang, and thanks to Zal from Lik-Sang for sending some free USB adapters back in 2002 and kindly mentioning StepMania in their email newsletter a few times.

Well, I didn't get my pad adapter from Lik-Sang, but I'm actually saddened by the news. They were a really great company.

That really suxs... I bet they were making alot of money with adapters here and there and other awesome games and consoles, man that really suxs. Which StepMania lead me to buying the recommend adapter.

WTH is Sony is thinking <.< just lost another online store to sell some of their products. Maybe, does not affect them at all? money :o ah whatever...

RIP Lik-Sang

I smell a rat...

sony is denying any involvement in the closing down of Lik-Sang.

Try these people. I bought two Stay Cool mats from them in September and I was quite happy with their service. They are in the Netherlands but it took only about 3 days for the shipment to arrive in the UK:
