MegaSonic, MegaSonic OverHeat, MegaSonic Flash, MegaSonic VerTex, and now...

Once again, this is a song I wrote. I have below a progress shot because I had my screenshot app open at the time. this may just be the most interesting MegaSonic song Yet, and As I keep them coming, I hope I get better with my compositions.

This introduces bass, modulation, different drum beats, new piano theme, and pitch bending. I was tempted to use my friend's electric guitar to record this, but I didn't want to trade sound quality. EDIT: According to the whoosh sound, I discovered the noise of the Casuarina Cascade. END EDIT: So I kept what you hear in this file.

I hope this changes opinions about the MegaSonic Series.

I personally think "My Song" sounded a bit more professional, but good effort here overall (including the steps, but then again I am a n00b...)

May I ask why the DISPLAYBPM is set to 0 when the steps are actually a constant 154 BPM?

using a Mac, i copied over a different SM that had that in there. I didn't know it was there or how to change it before I submitted it. But I find that since so many people choose their arrow speed based on the bpm number, I thought it would throw some people off. Plus, I didn't think anybody else would think of something like that, so I decided NOT to reupload.

I thought MegaSonic Smile was gonna be something like happy hardcore, but I was wrong. It didn't seem that happy to me, and I was wondering why it was named that. It was kinda weird, but weirdness is great (in my opinion).

As far as the song goes, it's better than the previous MegaSonics, but there's still room for improvement. The song was okay though. It wasn't annoying or repetitive.

The graphics were done nicely.

The steps were okay; not spectacular, but not bad either.

Well, I didn't intend it to be a happy song. Like this song, compared to the other MegaSonics, It turned out to be an oxymoron. Completely different than what you expected from a MegaSonic song, and not what you expected from the title either. So that was the gimmick I was portraying.
