Hi there, I'm trying to make a theme on SM4 Alpha 4 and I was thinking if it would be possible to do a metric or function after selecting a song to show difficulties like in PIU PRO. Take a look at these pics to see what I'm trying to say:

Before I select the song:

I've tried tons of metric commands and I don't know if it can be implemented with Lua.

Is there any way to do this?

EDIT: I've tried with "TwoPartSelection=true" in "[ScreenSelectMusic]" without success, I don't know if this option can help. :\

this can be done with Lua, you'll need two part selection on to do it.

broadcast messages are your friend ;)

Turn on TwoPartSelection in the metrics first. What you need to then do is have a difficulty selector that appears once start is pressed. I don't know enough about Lua to do that, however. I think you need code bindings.

By the way, I have never seen those Pro mockups before and they look a lot better than Pro did.

IIRC this required a hack to the source to work as Pro did...

StepsChosen is a good message to know for this.

EDIT: Can't this be done in the new SVN 20090629 build?

Can't say I can, never really implemented it before, just have been witness to an implementation... Don't completely understand it yet.
