aka the theme formerly known as dubaiOne.
all shots are currently in 4:3 because the theme is still mostly dubaiOne from SM4CVS, in which I didn't care too much about widescreen. That's changing for this theme.

Here's a taste of what's been done so far:

(screen filter is optional; just need to tie it to some Lua; also it's my own implementation and not Dreamwoods's)

the background will be changing, no need to tell me it's boring; I already know that.

I'm looking forward to this. Just one question, does it work with extra speed mods? When I added some in CVS, I couldn't select them in dubaiOne.

dubaiOne/moonlight has a feature called Custom Speed Mods that allow it to read a file containing your favorite speed mods. That's why the default speed line doesn't show up. Just copy the modifiers over to {StepMania 4 install directory}/Data/SpeedMods.txt like so:

0.5x,1x,1.5x,2x,3x,4x,8x,C200,C400

and so on.
The good thing about this is that multiple themes can support it. (I can see how editing the metrics in the default theme could be easier, but that could get overwritten with a new version and you'd have to add them in again. not so here :D)

I probably will go either with photos or a design in the background. In addition, the theme won't be limited to just that creamish color anymore... but more on that when the time comes.

As you are calling it "Moonlight", I actually think that black would fit more.
