new stuff:
- started working on song select again
- 5 alternate backgrounds
- optical (original) background changes brightness with the time of day
- user preferences working now
- genre generator when songs don't have them

next:
- new music wheel
- new difficulty indicators
- new options list
- new gameplay stuff
- nuke evaluation screen (in favor of something much better)
- new screens to set preferences
- more options!
- improve animations

Minor update so people don't think I'm completely slacking:

Did some work on gameplay, made musicwheel more readable, added BPM display, tweaked stuff, started on some replacements for a few things (not visible here)

Are you planning to have the main Background added to the song select screen or are you alternating them... Or going to have them both as options?

and another update, a bunch of the changes aren't visible here but a couple are

- added optionslist again
- removed player options (optionslist does that)
- started working on select menu
- added banner
- added difficulties (wip)
- fixed up screenstage
- a minor change to gameplay (need to do more)
- removed eval (better plans for this)
