EXPERT: I'm all for inconsistency, and this chart pulls that off pretty well. I wish the fast 1/16 stream turn in measures 23 was repeated. that was fun. and in measure 37, i wish it repeated what happened in measure 29. Other than that, I liked this chart.
HEAVY: I generally found nothing wrong here. Although, I found it more fun than the expert chart. I liked the turns in the 1/8 streams, and how it gradually got harder. It generally just fit together. MEDIUM: Shorten a lot of the holds, and this chart could be better. And the patterns with the 1/16ths beginning on measure 18 following through 25 really pushed the edge of what a Medium chart is. And I thought too much 1/8 started appearing somewhere around measure 35. Those 1/16ths started appearing again at measure 50. Not completely inappropriate, just at the edge I think. Measures 65 to 76 was my favorite part of this chart. LIGHT: All holds I think should be shortened just a bit (up to 1 beat). (The holds at measures 32, and 62 were okay.) Other than, I don't think anything was wrong. There was no beginner chart, but I generally count this chart as optional. None of these were generally big. i just think the MEDIUM chart should be brought down about 10%. Still, I don't think it does the original Dawn (from ITG) enough Justice. But I'll say, I definitely recommend this chart for people who love to have fun, and like to hear good music. 4/5. |
