Help creating my first simfile (Nyankoi, song help)

Hey. thanks for dropping by.
I've recently taken up making simfiles, (kudos to barx on his guide which helped me out a ton), and I've discovered I did a lot better than I thought i would on this piece.

My inspiration comes from Jubo's files and one day I thought, 'what the hell, I'll try making my own so I'm not a complete moocher.' Point being, I'm creating the opening for the Nyankoi Anime, and I was stumped at first because I could not find a TV size file of the song to match the video, so I went ahead and used the 5minute original to go with the video.

The problem is that it ends awkwardly, and now, after almost finishing the file I've discovered the TV size version and I have a few questions:

1) The TV size starts earlier so the whole song is now off beat when i replace the original size song--they are the same BPM and everything; i was wondering if there was a way I could bump all my steps up, or set it so that it starts on time without starting from scratch/screwing up all the steps i've made. (If not, do you have any suggestions, like a program to copy/paste the ending of the tv size song into the cut down original so it doesn't just end randomly.)

2) I'll be posting the file up on here in a few days to get some feedback, I haven't gotten to the point to where I insert the data for video play, and my own signature to appear on the banner in stepmania via .sm file. How do I do those things?
