Default 20070725|Arabbiata by RevenG AA, Heavy, 2x, One Handed 30FPS

This is me doing a AA on Arabbiata by RevenG. Steps are form Wip3Out, Mix 1. I recorded this with Fraps.
For myself, for the number of greats, I have been able to get way better than that. It's because of the 30 FPS. ;)
Oh, and, I'm not liying for the one-handed, three fingers and 2x. :)

...I use FRAPS and have 60FPS videos with minimal lag. try updating FRAPS.

I'll look at the vid in a moment, though.
I'm slowly picking apart StepMania 5's theming system. Odds are, HL2 Episode 3 might get released before I finish my theme.

I have version 2.8. But, I have also a Pentium 4, 3 Ghz with 2 GB of RAM. Not the best machine. Proof, I had to play in 640x480 windowed to play this :(

I tried my whole best in this with the lag I had. I think the lag makes it special.

    EDIT

I updated Fraps to 2.8.2 and it still drop my FPS at 30 or below even if I choose 60 FPS at recording.
    StepMania is cool.

So, it means that instead getting an in-game 60 FPS while playing, Fraps reduced it to 30 FPS meaning that the game lag. So, it's more difficult to get a AA when it's lagging right?

    I hope I won't get frustrative comments :(

    Enjoy.

Awesome song. I'll have to give this one another look. I have Wip3Out stuff, but I must have passed over it.

Even with high stats fraps writing to the hard drive can take a ton of system resources.. unless you have an excessively powerful machine (and a hella good vid card) it WILL lag your system.

    Oh, hello there.

I think Fraps won't have a problem if you are using a dual-core machine. I have a 2.2GHz AMD Athlon Dual-Core and I get 60FPS while recording with Fraps. I also have an NVidia GeForce 7950 GT with 512MB if that helps as well.

    I don't have a pretty actual machine. Like I stated above, I have :
    Pentium 4, 3 Ghz
    2 GB of RAM
200 GB of Hard disk (internal) 7200rpm
ATI Radeo X600 Pro 256 MB

    This is from April 2005.
    StepMania is cool.

Just one more question Lebon, did you record at half-size? That should help reduce the size and increase the FPS rate.

I tried. It was still recording at 30 FPS. To try reducing the lag, I played StepMania Windowed in 640x480 and reduced all quality texture and stuff at 16 bits.

I tried Hyper Cam but the audio was like 2x longer than video. The video was like 1min and the audio was 2min. Or, if they were synth. All was going wrong.

I'm not able to record stuff with this PC.
