Using XBOX controller on PC

I know this does not have much to do with Stepmania, but I was wondering if there was a way to connect the XBOX controller to the computer via the Ignition 3.0 pad's xbox connector thing and use it as a gamepad. It would really help me out, my gamepad just broke and I REALLY do not feel like buying another one. I also posted this in the Input Problems forum but thought this might be a better category.

get the xbcd drivers instead of the ones they have there and you can
just snip off the xbox plug and use the wires in that cord 0_0
